Description

Ferrous EDTA (Ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid) is a chelated form of iron (Fe). The "12%" means it contains 12% water-soluble iron in a stable, plant-available form. It's especially effective in correcting iron deficiency (chlorosis) in crops.---✅ Main Uses of Ferrous EDTA 12%:1. Corrects Iron Deficiency:Helps cure iron chlorosis, which causes yellowing of young leaves while veins remain green.Common in alkaline or calcareous soils where iron gets locked up.2. Improves Chlorophyll Production:Iron is essential for chlorophyll synthesis, boosting photosynthesis and plant vigor.3. Safe & Quick Uptake:The EDTA chelation keeps iron soluble and available to plants.Easily absorbed by roots or leaves. ---How to Use Ferrous EDTA 12%:A. Foliar Spray:Mix 0.5 to 1.0 gram per liter of water.Spray during early morning or late afternoon.Repeat at 10–15 day intervals if symptoms persist.B. Soil Application:Apply 5–10 kg per hectare (or 2–4 kg per acre), either directly or with irrigation water.Best when mixed with compost or NPK fertilizers.C. Drip Irrigation / Fertigation:Mix 100–200 g per acre depending on crop stage and deficiency level. ---Do Not Mix With:Strong acids or phosphate-based fertilizers directly.Highly alkaline solutions. ---⚠️ Symptoms of Iron Deficiency in Plants:Young leaves turn yellow with green veins (interveinal chlorosis).Poor growth and low yield.Common in soils with high pH, excess lime, or poor drainage. ---✅ Suitable Crops:Fruits: Citrus, banana, mango, grapesVegetables: Tomato, brinjal, chilli, cabbageField crops: Paddy, cotton, groundnut, soybeanOrnamentals and nursery plants
